How to reclaim your PPI
If you think you have been paying to much PPI you are probably right. Most of the time when you call to get a loan they add on unnecessary insurance you do not ask for. This could be costing you hundreds a year. You can go back 6 years and claim what is rightfully yours. First you should check your policy of course, and then find all the paperwork you need to prove your case. Then you should write to your lender, if you have a decent claim you are more than likely going to get your money. Of course they will turn you down on your first try but don’t give in, be persistent. If you can’t get it worked out you should then start a letter to the ombudsman and make a case. Don’t give up and even if they turn you down the first time keep trying.
