The UK consumer has been so mistreated over the years that it almost turns one for a loop when a company such as Barclays steps up to set an example for its peers.
They need to be commended for their laudable policy of taking responsibility for their mistakes.
Their responsible handling of the PPI scandal deserves the support of all banking patrons. A movement amongst banking customers must be initiated to reward such responsible behaviour. Likewise, to hold the other major banks accountable.
Customers who have not been compensated for their PPI Claims should encourage all of their friends and associates to close their accounts with these charlatans and move them to Barclays and any other firm that demonstrates such respect for their clientele.
