For borrowers who were mis-led into believing that a PPI policy was required in order to get a loan; or, for those who were being charged for a PPI policy along with their loan, and were not aware of it, reclaiming the money you are owed by that lender, is as easy as filing a complaint with the lender. After a Judicial Hearing earlier this year, the courts ruled in favour of borrowers, and have ordered that the lenders and banks pay back all PPI policies, which were either mis-sold, or to those borrowers who were mis-led by the lender into believing that they had to buy a PPI policy.
So, if you fall into either class, all you have to do to reclaim your PPI money, is write a strongly worded letter to your lender, in order to get back the money you should not have been paying your lender to begin with.
