Payment protection insurance, or PPI, provides temporary financial benefits to those people who have loans or credit cards, and they cannot work due to such things as sickness or injuries.
This insurance coverage can be extremely beneficial to those persons who can qualify for it. However, many banks and lending institutions mis-sold this insurance to people who do not even qualify to collect under it. Some people were not even aware they had purchased such insurance.
Some examples of people, whom were mis-sold PPI, include unemployed or self-employed persons, both of whom cannot collect under PPI. Another example is those persons whom purchased the insurance unknowingly, or those persons to whom the banks or lending institutions told they had to purchase the coverage to receive the loan or credit card. However, many people today are filing claims to collect refunds of their PPI policies. For those people, who think that they may have been mis-sold PPI, they may want to consider hiring a PPI reclaiming service to get the refund they deserve.
